Baby Hope 4 Month Session

Last Sunday I had the honor of doing a baby session for a wonderful family. Baby Hope brings joy to all who are around her. Her parents prayed that the Lord would fill their lives with hope. This precious little girl is a testimony of His faithfulness.

Kirk & Jody South Haven Session!

Dave and I had the pleasure of doing a portrait session in South Haven for Kirk Jody a few weeks ago.  Jody is an amazing wedding and event planner www.theorganizedpartner.com .  She has given me some great advice about the wedding industry, and along the way I asked how she met her husband. Kirk & Jody were high school sweethearts and just recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. Now any wedding has a few little mishaps, theirs went smoothly until after the big day. All of their wedding photographs were lost in the mail, and after Jody dropped her dress and veil off at the dry cleaners the building burned down! While the pictures we took of them a few weeks ago will never replace their wedding photos, I hope they help to celebrate twenty four years together. Thanks so much for the wonderful afternoon  Kirk & Jody. We loved the tour of South Haven and had a great time getting to know you more over dinner.

Here are a few of my favorite images...

Chris & Leah are engaged!

Chris and Leah met at a church conference a few years ago.  Everyone in their group had other plans one night, so these two new acquaintances decided to check out a local eatery.  What could have been an hour or so of small talk turned into a long distance romance and the rest is history!

Dave and I were camping with some friends on Kelley's island in Ohio a few weeks ago, and Leah and Chris took the ferry over to embark on an engagement session adventure!  We gave them a tour of the island via golf cart and stopped at my favorite spots to get some amazing photographs.

They were troopers and followed us across a field to get to a gorgeous red barn...

Got in Lake Erie for some fun beach shots...

And climbed a winery ruin wall to get some amazing shots in an old window frame!

Later over pizza we got to know them and their story.  It was a blast spending time with this couple and seeing how beautiful they are together.  We can't wait for their wedding in September and to see how God blesses their new life together!

Thanks for such a great afternoon Chris & Leah!
