Second Shooter

Hey all. This is Dave, Carrie's husband. I play second shooter to Carrie on some of her gigs. I also have a love of photography and find that it ties in nicely with my passion for illustration.

I'll be posting my photo work here from time to time in order to flesh out the other side of Carrie's 'My Life' blog :). To start off with, here are some photos from a recent trip to Milham park with my nieces.

Annie is 19!

My little sis turned 19 this week.  A good time was had by all who gathered for the occasion.  Highlights were the oragami dogs Aunt Julie made as favors and the rockin meal and 3 layer chocolate cake w/ cheesecake in it mom made.  Mom always makes birthdays special - baby pictures of us all over, the story of when we were born, there was a lot of laughter over stories of annie through the years.  Love you sis!

B is Back!

My cousin Beth was a missionary in Dominican Republic and Haiti for 5 months.  She came home in February and I went with my fam to pick her up from the airport late at night one week day.  Beth looks more beautiful than ever with freckles and color from all of her hard work!  Isn't her boyfriend Nick's face sweet seeing her for the first time walking towards us?
We're glad you are back B, it wasn't the same without you!

Meet Baby Rhiley!


Dave and I love our nieces.  Rhiley is the newest addition to the family, we got to meet her on Friday.  She has a perfect little body, so sweet.  Congrats to Steve & Jenny & big sister Maddie!

Goodrich Girls Come for a Visit!

My Friend Jess and I get together for our birthdays each year. This time she brought her adorable little girls with her - Isabelle and baby Helena. We had a fun day together and lots of yummy food, thanks Jess!

I'm back!

I'm a married woman! I'm back after taking time off of photography to plan a wedding, merge two lives and settle into our new nest. Here is a pic of Dave and me on my 30th Birthday. It was a perfect day - Bob Evan's cinnamon pancakes for brunch after sleeping in, cross country skiing through the woods at an amazing park, an afternoon nap, dinner at Bilbo's with my mom and sis, and then a night out to see the latest musical by the homeschool performing arts - Honk!
