Beautiful Michigan Spring Wedding!

Dave's Day!

Dave's Birthday was several weeks ago, I've been remiss in my blogging of late. I will shape up!

We had a fun party at our house after lunch at Red Robbin. Dave and Carrie and Jim did the Borgess Run that morning, I cheered w/ Lucy by my side. Here's Dave and our nieces.

Here's my Grahms. Isn't she beautiful? Her 81st birthday. She has taught me to find joy in the little things. I want to write a book about her and the many wonderful things she did for me growing up. A trip "Up North" to grahms & gramps was a special treat full of walks, trips to the library, tea parties, dress up, secret candy stashes and lots of laughter.

Maddie Mae's 2nd Birthday!

I'm back with some more photos! These were taken last weekend at my niece's second birthday! It was actually her third second birthday which can get a little confusing but I blame that on the fact that so many people love her :). She's got a great smile and has a lot of fun when she gets together with her cousins. Happy Birthday Maddie!

Family Sleigh Ride

Hi again! I have been going through some photos from this past year and found a few I had forgotten about! Carrie's folks have been giving sleigh ride parties around Christmas time for a long time and since I've been around I've been included in the festivities. This year Carrie's friends, Heather and Tim had a beautiful new baby boy named Will! He was pretty stinkin cute so I took a few photos of baby Will with Grandpa Will. Here they are!

Engagement Story

Bethie & Nic are engaged! It happened at my parents house last Saturday. My mom packed a picnic lunch for the lovebirds and we had our family cabin ready for a romantic proposal! Mom and Aunt J & I waited in suspense for the news, peaking out the window towards the cabin every few minutes. Bethie had that just engaged glow:) Stay tuned for pics from their official engagement session in the next few weeks. We're so happy for you two!
